Pause and resume recording
Use pause when you intentionally stop.
Pause tells Tam the stop is intentional and helps separate moving time from elapsed time. The pause state is part of the recording timeline, so it is more reliable than leaving the app to infer a stop later. Resume only when you are ready to continue collecting the route.
What to do
- Tap Pause before a long stop.
- Keep the phone with you while paused.
- Tap Resume and wait for a fresh fix if needed.
